HD Hyundai Chemical makes products based on three major facilities.
We are equipped with crude oil refining facility for manufacturing of petrochemical products such as naphtha, kerosene and diesel, etc., BTX manufacturing facility for blended xylene and benzene with reformed naphtha as the raw material, and petrochemical manufacturing facility for polyethylene and polypropylene with T-DAO, medium quality naphtha and by-product gas as the raw materials.
We have secured stable sales channel with majority of the key products of HD Hyundai Chemical supplied to HD Hyundai Oil Bank and Lotte Chemical, which are stockholders, in accordance with contract entered with them. Moreover, we are realizing outstanding cost competitiveness on the basis of our manufacturing facilities that maximally utilize the by-products manufactured in the process of refining and manufacturing by our stockholders and HD Hyundai Chemical.

BTX(Benzene, Toluene, Xylene);
A collective term for the aromatic compounds, Benzene, Toluene and Xylene. It is used for production of petrochemical derivatives; the raw materials of plastics, additives and synthetic fibers.
MX(Mixed-Xylene);
It is a mixture of the three isomers, ortho-xylene, meta-xylene, para-xylene and ethylbenzene, and used as a main raw material of PX production.
Condensate;
It is an intermediate form produced from a development process of crude oil and natural gas. It scarcely contains bunker C oil and is super light crude oil with high content of naphtha, kerosene, diesel, etc.
PolyEthylene;
It is the product manufactured by polymerizing ethylene referred to as the key source of petrochemical and used for manufacturing of various containers, packaging films and pipes, etc.
PolyPropylene;
It is the product manufactured by polymerizing propylene and used for manufacturing of containers and packaging materials, etc.
T-DAO (Treated-DeAsphalted Oil);
Desulfurized crude oil for which asphaltene has been separated from petroleum residue manufactured in the process of treating crude oil.
